was for this boat and it certainly didn't have a fishing cockpit either:

So, like I originally said, Carvers don't catch fish. Seems we agree. And I won't get off the dock ... bud.

Paul - Might have a few years on some of you guys, but I can still leave the dock at 5am, run 60 miles offshore, troll and run the cockpit with 7-9 rods all day, put some fish in the box, ride home, clean fish and the boat as good or better than many young guys ... Sometimes we even give a few filets to the Glad Bag fishermen at the dock.

Jeff - Glad you and some other were able to enter and possibly win a new Penn reel. If you win, you can probably swing by Tony's boat and sell him some of the fish you catch.

I imagine a few of the northern ones are having many sleepless nights right now and if a new guy had made this posting (they) would have been all over him as if he'd commited rape!!
I for one am glad RJ posted it here as I have entered the contest and expect whole-heartedly to win it!!

Checked in - didn't win yet.

These reels will go for about $170-$190.

Good luck!

Naw IMO Tony was the first. He took a fishing rod prize post straight into how his boat is not for fishing and even told us where he buys his sea food. Hence, hijacked! Is all good. Hopefully we all took the chance to have a good chance at some good free gear!
