Renovation update

Post by rspecops »

Had a great weather weekend and was able to get finished
with bottom paint and boot stripe. Went with Pettit Vivid. Next
weekend if weather permitting I am moving the blocks to finish
those areas of the hull.

Thanks for the remarks. I did so much reading or research on bottom paints I was more confused when I finished up than when I started. seems like equal good, bad, loved, hated reviews on every paint out there. I really like the Vivid paint so far. It rolled on excellent. Very good coverage. I am gonna do the metals, rudder, trim tabs etc. in black.

i frakkin LOVE the blue bottom and the black boot. reminds me of how bubala 3 looked when she was delivered that hot day in june 1972. the vivid looks absolutely beautiful. i saw the black vivid on a boat last year and i think next year i'll go with that. something about the look.
again, she looks fantastic!!!
