Lets see:

1. Refinish teak-and-holly interior companionway/dinette/galley sole.
2. Remove and refinish bridge ladder steps.
3. Remove and refinish swim platform (anyone have any good ideas for refinishing the mahogany/teak supports?).
4. Refinish boarding 2-step ladder.
5. Installing new stereo speakers in cockpit and on sides of bridge helm station.

That should keep me busy enough between ice fishing forays......

6. Remove and refinish shower bench seat.

I think that's all the wood getting done this winter.

I stripped down my swim platform with a belt sander then a palm sander last spring and applied three coats of Sikkens Cetol natural teak, it brought out all of the grain and still looks good. Hopefully it'll last two or three seasons before I have to redo it.

I'll start by having envy for the guy thats going south to continue boating.
as far as winter projects well I hope to keep the boat heated while in it and working ,try and get the wiring secured and then hope for an early spring . Plans are to get with Bob and order the tranny and bell housing and hopefully be able to get this thing in the water and see if it floats!!!!!!

Anyone who doesn't have to haul out and winterize

Pics would keep me happy while the white fluffy stuff is around though. I like to turn the computer on and see palm trees after coming in from shoveling the stuff for two hours.

I haven't decided yet how I'm going to finish the swim platform. I was going to use boiled linseed oil cut with some mineral spirits on the cockpit sole, and was originally planning on doing the same on the platform (has Cetol on it right now). What color does the Cetol Natural Teak come out to? I know the Marine comes out a bit yellow, which from the photos I've seen is very acceptable. I've got Marine on my taffrail covered with Cetol Gloss, and the color is fine by me.

I'd kind of like to keep the general color tone of all my cockpit/transom teak as close to possible.

Thanks Carl. I'll actually be in Florida in January. Guess what I'll be doing for 2 weeks!
