F32 realistic weight

Post by comodave »

Has anyone actually weighed an F32 with a flybridge? I need to know what they really weigh so I can talk to a lift maker about modifying an existing boat lift at a house I am thinking about buying.

What's the manufacturer's dry weight...12k?

Then add up the fuel weight per gallon, of what the tanks hold, the water and waste tank and added interior furniture, tools, etc... 15-20k maybe?

I think Jamie is realistic with his figures. When I looked into a lift I was looking at a 9 ton capacity unit. I wouldn't have gone any less than that.

Since then I have reconsidered the lift option, and if I were to get one now it would be of even grerater capacity. Thats only because I have been starting the process of trading up.  8)

I just had mine on the travel lift and while the gauges are not perfect, I was 14500 with two full tanks of fuel. The mid-ship tanks are new and not yet filled.

That is exactly the information that I was looking for. If I go with a 16K lift, that should be good. Thanks for responding.

I keep my 10 meter on a lift. I have 4 4500# plate motors with 5/8 cable and pulleys on the cradle for compound effect.
