Re: Boat insurance
I have BoatUs and though I've never had any claims, a friend I know has had an engine claim which they paid for complete replacement. This issue arose from hitting a submerged object, which in turn, damaged his engine (s).
But to have an insurance claim to pay for a blown engine or transmission is unlikely. Usually failure is due to abuse or negligence. Perhaps you can get a Ryder and an engine/transmission policy, but through who, I'm not aware.
