Just so you Northerners can have a laugh on us Southern people, it was 19 degree here in Texas last night. Come on Spring and Summer. Now the weather people have come up with a new term, at least new to me "The Arctic Vortex", BRRR

Its cold as a well diggers a$$ crack in the yukon here also. I still have some open water in front of my place due to the wind, but if it dies down, its gonna freeze up solid. The salmon are feeding, but you'd have to be one sik effer to go out in this to try to land one.

The longer term forecast is calling for rain this Saturday. That will be nice when it hits all the frozen surfaces and trees and turns to ice.

Hi Mike and Anne, You would not believe it here in Penetanguishene today. All roads closed and they say the worst is yet to come. "Polar Vortex",... nice. I start at the Toronto Boat Show on Friday. Hope all is well with you guys. Jim.

It is 19 degrees in Atlanta right now, and 35 degrees in Moscow!

Truth be told, I don't mind the cold weather. Went hunting last Friday when the wind chill was -6 F. Was rewarded with a nice doe compliments of my new muzzle loader. Besides, the cold just makes the warmth more desirable. You know, sorta like how conservatives make the liber-- oh never mind, wrong forum!
