Where Can I Get New Fuel Vents For F44

Post by Lean Wolf »

I am renovating my F44 and would like to replace the fuel tank vents on the boat simply because they look so bad. Does anyone know where I can get four new stainless fuel vents that match the original ones?

If you are replacing them all, why not pick something quality and modern that you like rather than trying to find NOS? Its not going to hurt the value of the boat and you may find that the options available now are nicer or better than what was used originally.

I got a list of other stuff you could do on that F-44 before you sell it to me too.  8)

Thank you for the thoughts. Actually one of the vents on the link that Commissionpoint sent me looks like it will work. I am trying to find something that is built like the old style vents so that I do not have to remove all of the aft cabin cabinetry to get to them to secure a new styled one from the inside. I am going to pull one out this weekend and compare it size wise to what is listed in the link. Slowly but surely this thing is coming together and I will post before and after pictures of the rehab for everyone once it is done. I am looking forward to just drinking beer on it on the bay and enjoying it!
