We got over 23" of rain here. The Trojan floated just fine. Our back yard and sea wall didn't fair well. Will need complete rebuild. The neighbors Grady White 280 sailfish sunk bow first. Motors were up out of water. He got a wet cabin and water in fuel tanks. Told him to buy a trojan :?

Phone rang at 530 am. they closed my kids school district because the bus company was under water (the bus company is directly next to my shop!) checked weather channel and they said the flood stage for the river that floods me is 13 ft, it was currently 16.9 ft and was projected to go to over 20 ft! went down and heres what I found.
Boat survived!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shops trashed!!!!!!!!

man, you have some work to clean that up but I'm sure you'll take it compared to the boat. So you don't expect it to get much higher in the shop? My sump pump is cycling 2x a minute! I have a water powered back up pump which probably wouldn't keep if the primary failed. I guess it would keep inches from going to feet :(

The two times I really thought my boat was lost was on land too...

Glad to hear the boat is OK.... I hope you will find that the shop damage is not as severe as it looks today when the water dries out.
Keep your chin up as we are looking forward to seeing the finished product of your updated battery system.... the boxes look nice.

That is one very determined-looking guy in the photo!

I didn't know (or didn't remember) that your dad died there. I'm sure storms and floods are very emotional for you.

Very glad the boat came through all right. The shop can be cleaned up.

Its 840 pm and I just got home from the shop. Been cleaning all day and still have more tomorrow. I can barely move. The boats fine! Actually gave her a bath with the pressure washer today, it's been quite a long time since I've done that!
Thanks again everyone!
