how much would it cost to have an autopilot system installed on my 1979 f32.

I think its about $2k.

BUT WELL WORTH IT - I love my autopilot

I think it all depends on if you have the supporting electronics to go with it.

Do you have a relatively new GPS that will interface with the auto pilot you are considering?

This Link is a pretty straightforward, simple to use, pretty reliable system. I had this on my F-26, and it performed well.

As long as you already have Hydraulic steering, under 2K and easy to install.

My F-32 has a raymarine system and integrated course computer, with remote on the back deck. More than 2K, but may be more than you want or need

I have the Simrad AP28 on my President 43 and really like steering using the knob..... easy and quick.... only thing better would be if I could have was a wireless remote control.
