Do you have any of the original hardware? If so, the seats themselves are fairly easy to make. I can post pics if you'd like.

We have all the parts S/S parts and hardware for the Trojan Fold down seat except the seat hinges and the seat itself. The seat itself was just marine grade plywood base, foam cushion, and white vinal fabric. Garick and Wise have hinges that will work for hinging the top and bottom seat together. Just give us a call Bob 609 713 4602 Beacon Marine

Below are a few pictures of the seat from the port side of the boat. All of the hardware is original however the seats themselves are new. I cut new pieces of wood to the sizes that I wanted then brought them to a local marine upholstery shop for foam and vinyl.

As for the hardware, it looks like Bob at Beacon Marine has you covered.

Hope this helps

I have a set of stainless steel legs from a 70s Chris Craft. They are 32" tall by 15.75' Someone could have them for the cost of shipping. They must weigh about 5-6 lbs ea.

I am sorry for coming across as a schmoozer, but I just LOVE the work you do! From the DIY Boater article a few years back to everything else you have shared, you are less of a boat owner, and more of a boat builder! Those seats and related framing are perfect replicas of what was on my father's 1969 28' Sea Skiff!

Thanks Captain, the seats are a classic design that still works very well today. As for me, I love working on this boat as much as I do using it.

I have a set (pair) of original seats....no legs.

I also have the side support brackets that the legs fasten to the side interior walls.

Let me know if you would like me to take pics of them.

Paul

If you want to practice, you can come and work on mine! Hamilton is not that far away from you, and I will pay for the Timmies!

Sure...I have two seats with original hinges and two sets of hardware for attaching the seat tubing to the interior walls. I would have to look and see what I have left of the pedestals (legs)

I looked through my "marine room" as my wife likes to call it and I don't have the SS tubing (legs)...just the two seats, and the original Trojan hardware for the seat mounts to the interior walls.

If you interested send me a pm...

Thanks,

Paul
