Spring is Here!!!

Post by Flyboy »

De-Winterized the boat this weekend, went out on the river for a few hours. Everything worked great. Hoping for not much flooding this year.

i de-winterized my a/c system today. engines/genset sometime next week. hopefully. the water temp was 47f and the bilge was 52 thanks to my engine room heater. brad is terrified that i'm jumping the gun on this one, but, as long as the water temp is in the 40's, we should be okay. canvas goes up in the next few weeks, i hope. it was at the canvas guys place over the winter to store and have some zipper repairs done. i'm just looking forward to warmer weather.......... as i assume all of us are.

Started getting ready but I have a transmission leak. Leaked out over the winter. Hope it is a cooling hose or something minor. River looks great. Hope to see you soon at the boat house.

Boat House! I was there Friday and Saturday for a bit. Helped Rich move his Roamer from Polestar back to North Shore.

Sounds good, I'm sure it will be quite a while before we get back, but you never know. That is such a great area on the river!

Here in northern WI, the lake opened up today. Dock and lift, and boats are going in tomorrow, and hoping to splash the F32 in April! Ice went out 4 weeks earlier that last year. :D
