I always do mine in the water , But I have done it many times . When doing it in the water ,water flows in very fast so it can be intimidating for sure .

Sirs! Today I´ve got a new problem. Or two problems.... First: Someone have been in my boat last night. They have "nicked" (stolen) my toolbox, my battery drill without the charger (it was in the drawer), two brand new fishing rods, and a sixpack with strong beer. MY BEER!!!! @%&!!+=£**'!! :( :x :x   :!: The croocks destroyed the sliding door lock with a screw driver. They also destroyed the rollers in bottom of the sliding door. Is it possible anyone have any used locks and maybe a set of rollers?

Sorry about what happened. Someone tried to steal my boat this past June. I'll never understand why thieves would try to steal our old Trojans when there are so many new boats available. I hope you can find the parts you need to make the repairs.

Honestly, I keep my boat unlocked. I figured it's easier to replace the crap they steal than the boat parts they break to get in.

having had a lock business years ago. The lock cylinder should be easy to replace, looks pretty much standard. That said would be from a us lock shop. Google on line lock shops and I bet you eventually will find it. I think beacon marine has the rollars, maybe the lock cylinder.
