10m mid cabin - AC relocate

Has anyone relocated their Mid Cabin AC unit by any chance? It's located in the v-berth from the factory and even with a new unit, it's loud. The fan is noisy and the cycling on/off is annoying. I was thinking of relocating the unit somewhere else, like under the mid cabin berth somewhere. I haven't checked any measurements yet though.

It would be a long run "back" to the v-berth for airflow, the opposite of the way it's setup now. Had this on my potential winter list. Plus, I've seen a couple of mid cabins w/o AC and that area becomes a nice locker.
