Butch , Herrington Harbor is a nice place .We stopped there on the way to St Mikes in 2009 . But I think the Solomons would be a better compromise , at least for those of use at the bottom of the bay :D

Solomons is doable with enough notice. I have been there it is nice. Just beware of some peoples 30 knot docking............ the guilty culprit knows who I am talking about. :? :?

Any opposed to the idea of one for the north and one for the south?

The biggest thing is organizing it and getting folks to go . There use to be one up the bay but when Kent no longer had the time , no one stepped up to do it. I tried to help out but being down here I was limited . But back to your question ,nothing wrong with more then one . But seem like more interest up the bay .I did get 4 boat together in the Solomons and it was a lot of fun all 4 boaters and crew have become great friends and have met up every year on land since . 3 of the 4 boats met in the 2009 rendezvous and made plans so when we did the Solomon's only one additional boat showed . Great times . we also had done kinsale 2 times Believe we had 4 boats from the site ? Including 1 by land .

When Kent did it we had 20 Trojans ( most not from the site ) and guest John Leeds . I don't know how he did it .

Forgive me for rambling on and on

One by land too? Now that is impressive.

Moving right along....

Just throwing out that the last week of July is bad for me. I still fantasize about owning an airplane again, the source of my signature humor, and often go to the EAA Airventure. It's always the last week of July.

I would be interested if it was in the upper bay and it wasn't during one of the weeks I was on vacation elsewhere.

It took me three years to get through a season without being towed, but that fourth year was magical! :D Good luck with your restoration.

Looks like the upper bay has the most interest . Anyone working on a Rendezvous ?

Just a word , IF you have a " Fish Fry " don't ask Stripermann2 or Prowlersfish to bring the fish ..... unless you want to starve .
