Larry,

I REALLY appreciate the offer, but its not much different from what I have now, other than not have the aft facing seat on the starboard side). We really want the helm to be tilted up some for gauges/electronics.

Thank you so much for offering.

Our 1975 F36 has upper and lower helms with chain/cable steering. I need to check the chain adjustment, but so far, it seems to work well.

I have two helms and the fly bridge console looks like the one in your picture.

Looking on line at F36s I did see all 78 and newer had hydraulic and the 2 pre (75 & 72 ) look to be the chain type ( pipe from upper and lower ) one was refitted to hydraulic . Interesting I did assume wrong .

over the weekend I went looking at F32's, one in particular listed for sale was a disaster and should only be a parts boat, its up here in Rhode Island. I was able to talk my friend out of buying it and found him a much better starting/project boat for just $2,500. I need parts and as do my friends, together we have 4 Trojan F32s ranging from 1973 to 1979. The one I suggest as a parts boat is a dual helm 1982 listed at $3,000 and we got the seller down to $1,350 before running away and backing out. I'm sure it could be had for less.

Wow - 4 F32s?

If I bought another bat (5 now), it would be instant divorce   but thanks for the tip!

Just need an 80s helm (and time to work on it) ... will call the 2 numbers that I have been sent, just been busy ...

Sorry to see all the northern boats getting hauled.

Has anyone replaced the floor on their F32 or F36 bridge?

Mine is spongy, so I'm planning to ear it all off and start over. Would love any tips... :?:

I'll check,

Finally mounted my new radar arch and wiring the Nav light. Lots more to do, but it looks great.

Bridge floor is a winter project...

When you get a chance, pictures of the new radar arch would be nice.

We will be doing the bridge floor in spring, along with rebuilding the helm seats.

Will do - we've just been so busy with medical issues.

We haven't been on an overnight cruise in 3 years - but looking much prettier at the dock ;)

I understand. I was at the marina yesterday winterizing the Trojan and the marina owner was giving me a hard time about not using the boat this year.
