Thanks for everything!

Post by Hart »

Unfortunately, family dynamics (growing kids and job changes) are directing my family direction out of boating - at least for the time being. If any of you happen to know of any folks in the market for a clean, low-hours 1978 F36 Convertible (on Lake Michigan), Hart's Desire is now, sadly, in the classifieds.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you all for the help and advice I've gotten over the last four years I've had the boat - especially to Paul, who has been especially free and gracious with his counsel. If there were ever a bigger asset to any online community........anywhere......I'd like to see it. Aaron was also a very encouraging spirit immediately after I acquired the boat. Thanks to him, too.

Keep up the good work, and keep the Trojan spirit alive! I may end up with another one in a few years, who knows. I'd like to spend my retirement summers on a motor yacht of some type!

Thanks again, all.

Thank you, Paul. I regret that I've never been able to shake your hand.

Be well, friend.

It is currently in heated storage at Seng's Marina in Manistee, Michigan.

I paid for it and sent Don the ad language (and link to photos) yesterday. Not sure how long he typically takes to get them listed.

I hope not too long.

I also listed it on Craigslist on the Holland, Michigan page. They are identical.

Took a look at the Craigslist ad. Definitely a beautiful F36. Good luck with your sale!

Since the Craigslist ads are free, I would suggest listing it in Chicago as well and that will pick up IL and WI. Like when I do a search from Chicago, it does not pick up boats in Holland but does pick up WI.

Good luck

I appreciate that, Dave. Funny thing: I am, as I type, corresponding with the first caller on the ad: from Wisconsin, where I bought it! He asked about the last survey and floated a lowball $20,500 offer. I have no intention of giving this boat away. Like I told him: too good of shape, too low hours, and too many extras included. I'm in no rush.

EDIT: I have listed the ad in the CL-Chicago pages at Dave's suggestion.

Don't you love it when you get a offer site unseen ? If you said yes and the showed up they would still try to talk you down .

I would take the words "dock queen" out .
