Hull id no.

Hi all does any one have a list of Hull id no. for the runabouts from the 50s
mine is 13' 10" C5234 it was bought in 1955 but I think it might be a 52 how do you people know what year your boat is for sure ?

All records from the early years are pretty much gone. From what I pieced together the number system was very simple...in your case, Model C, (1952)52, Number 34. Later on around 1955 just the last year was used such as mine...CM6500L which is a Standard Sea queen (wood frame Windows) 1956, number 500. I have no clue about the L.

Can you post to this site a picture of the number and the boat?

Hi Mel,
I have a 1961 marlin 17. The year is incorperated in the last two digits
of the v.i.n. or serial number located on the bottom right, (starboard)
side of the transom. Or at least on mine anyway. Hope I helped you out.
