1985 Trojan TriCabin 36'

Post by BeaconMarineDon »

"Ariel"
1985 Trojan Tri-Cabin 36’ (aft-cabin cruiser)

“Ariel” was a fresh-water boat in the Wisconsin/Twin Cities area until autumn 2017, when we brought her to Jacksonville, Florida, where we’ve been refurbishing her, docked on the Ortega River. We installed new water-intake filters, electronic ignition, new propellers (kept the old ones as back-ups), new toilets and associated plumbing/waste management for both heads (one head by V-berth, aft master head includes separate shower), new fire extinguishers in engine compartment, new batteries, a new propane gas grill at the stern, and a new microwave. The stand-up refrigerator and carpet were updated in recent years (before we bought last year).

Queen bed in the master berth aft; V-berth forward. Engines under main salon floor with a cutout above the main salon (forward of the windshield) that can be opened in case you ever want to pull the engines, replace furniture, etc. Fuel tank holds 220 gallons; freshwater tank onboard. Original Onan generator works, as do both built-in air conditioners (fore and aft). Trim tabs believed to be operational. Comes with VHF radio, depth finder, and stereo. The 2017 survey is available and we can show those findings which have been addressed.

We had two coats of bottom paint professionally applied at the end of 2017. The dinghy and motor were purchased at West Marine in August 2017 and can be included (total package price $31,000), or not (total package price $30,000), at the buyer’s choice.
