Trojan 390 leaking vent

Hello, Does anyone know the reason why there is a leak from the vent in the middle of the cabin? It has created black writing on the ship, I want to take care of the leak before dealing with that black mark. Thanks

Vent for? Fuel, holding tank, water tank or intake air? What year? Photo? Is it leaking inside or out side the hull?
