1976 F-30 lifting

Post by REMorgan »

Can anyone help me with positioning my boat on a boat lift for the first time? My questions are:
1. Where is the center of gravity for this model?
2. How far apart should the lift chocks be at the stern and at the bow? (Chocks are 12' apart fore and aft)

Better yet does anyone have a picture of this boat on a lift? Any help appreciated.

I have a 77 F-30 Express. I have owned it for 15 years. When I lift it. The front strap is set at the forward portion of the cabin. The rear strap is set up at the rear of the cabin. Having done that the rear strap will be at the end of the keal.
