F-25 outboards???

Post by seawolf »

Is this a dumb idea? Has anyone rebuilt one of these and removed the inboard and replaced it with outboards on a bracket? Or am I asking for trouble to try and reverse engineer Trojan's designers and should just keep the inboard?

We see many boats with the I/Os removed and replaced with OBs - usually on flotation brackets here in the SouthEast. When you have to run 60 miles offshore each way every day you fish - you re-define reliability.

Ads rome - removes the engines from the water for corrosion prevention, eliminates sinking issues and is faster, etc.
