Fished Sunday and Monday evening.
We have the Blue Angels in town this week for Air Shows over Charleston harbor on Saturday and Sunday! We'll be in one of the restricted areas around the harbor, as they plan to fly right on the deck (< 50' off the water). Should be fun (and loud).

I have watched the Blue Angels from my previous boats on the river and was really impressed with the show from that vantage point.

Don't put it on the antenna.... it is way too much load, being double thickness they pull a lot at speed.... tell Dianne Michael says it is best on the bow and it looks best there as it is always in view from the bridge.

I agree. You might get away with the flag on the lower half of the shaft near the mount but no way near the top. I have always had a flag on the bow, two reasons, looks good and secondly a wind vane. At the helm you can get a false wind direction by the time it gets to your face, but the bow is generally less disturbed.ready123 wrote:Don't put it on the antenna.... it is way too much load, being double thickness they pull a lot at speed.... tell Dianne Michael says it is best on the bow and it looks best there as it is always in view from the bridge.
