my f32 galley remodel
for those that might like to see. i installed black granite tile for the counter and slate tile for back splash. new (useable) larger and deeper sink with pullout faucet. also added 12v led rope light under cabinet to have indirect lighting on the backsplash. i am planning on continuing this theme in the head next.

the red outlet is powered by the dc-ac invertor only. the other receptacle by the stove in the galley is powered by generator and shore power. i have set up all the starboard recptacles on the boat with a switch that will allow them to be used by all ac sources (gen, shore and invertor)by selecting a source with a switch. the dedicated galley receptacle is run on a dedicated line to the invertor. i could not find a black single receptacle so thats why at this time its red. still looking for a black one to match but now i guess i'm getting used to it and it is a reminder that it only works when on the invertor.

Beautiful job. Curious, why not just use a regular double black outlet as well instead of the red single?
Having said that, I think the different colour is a good idea. It puts people on notice that it's an inverter circuit and that lengthy high loads should be kept to a minimum and not left unattended for long.

First of all, I have positively no idea how a reply from me referencing my tri-cabin recent galley reno got posted two above this one. It sure wasn't done by me.
Next, I replied earlier today to a post by Transmanjoe who was alerting us all to a boat fleamarket thing happening somewhere in the Chesapeake. What I got back was a message from the moderator indicating that the post I was replying to didn't exist?? What th'?
So, I not only got ghost posted above and also there is Transmanjoe again right there behind me??? What in the heck is going on here??
Finally, G36 - Great job on your galley. It looks terrific. I have copied the photos for my buddy here in my marina.
