Blower for Restroom

Post by kiltsup »

First time Trojan owner: First group post. I need to replace the blower to the restroom due to the blower making so much noise. How and where do I get to this motor to replace it?

I actually thought of a number of really funny, creative answers for this one, but I suppose I will sacrifice having some fun for forum decorum rules.

I don't have a blower in mine, but I probably should.....

Which model and year is your Trojan?

If the group knows that you will get more definate responses than "down at the bar"

Welcome.
How about some more info... why not put year and model of boat in your sig.
That way we may have a clue of how to answer.

Welcome aboard to the group.
Mine, (boat) doesn't have one of those thing in my head either.

But I'm sure someone here may be able to help, but need more info about your Trojan.

Since you ASKED...

Well, I used to have a few before I settled down. The noise wasn't really too much of a problem if we were away from the dock, or anchored up.

Then there was one time when my own brother returned earlier than expected from a kayaking adventure.......... oh the humanity.........

Most Head/Fart fans are just small bilge blowers like the one listed below. I would contact Bob who runs the site he can direct you to the right one.

Thanks all for the tips, signature now includes proper data for additional postings :) And yes, after reading my original post I am sure it could cause a snicker at my poor wording...

Same place as Danny's... under the cabinet in the galley is the blower for your head. I prefer to rest in the salon.

So are you officially renaming your salon the rest-room? Be careful here, you don't want any guests to be misinformed about this! :o

 I have a good friend that has 5 double beds on the boat. When asked "How many does your boat sleep?", they say 2!
