Weaver Davit Foot Print

Post by TC »

Does anyone have a Weaver Davit in their hand and could mearsure the bolt hole centers? Am trying to do a small project and would like to do the drilling at home and have it ready to install when I get to the boat. Precision drilling on the dock sometimes ends up not so presice.

I would wait until I have it in hand , could be changes in mountings from time to time

I just did it last weekend. In waist deep water, with a cordless drill. Came out perfect!

I am sure I would have screwed it up if I measured first

Clamp the pieces where you want then to the swim platform , then drill and they are more likely to line up completely. Unless the brackets are already on the dinghy.
