Found a great 318 complete but a question

The new engine is reverse rotattion is that a problem for my F25? single engine obviously - what do y'all think?

As long as your prop matchs your rotation u should be ok

Are you using the old trans ? If so you will need to rotate the pump on the front of the trans .

Yes sir - I planned on using it. I will look for the pump not sure what that is but I will figure it out

in a conversation today with beacon bob the topic of single screw engine rotation. According to bob virtually all single screw applications use reversie rotation engines. According to him either directon will propel but for an engineering reason reverse gives better performance.

Go figure, BTW he said I could quote him.

My understanding is, it was economy of scale that lead most boat builders to buy reverse rotation engines for the single screw models. I guess I could be wrong.

I have worked on a lot of boats a normal rotation is the norm on single screw boats . and reverse rotation engines cost more then standard

its my understanding rh rot is standerd rot on ford and chevy but lh rot is std on a chrysler and rh is reverse
