Pet Peeves?

Post by Stripermann2 »

Thought I'd start a silly topic to distract us from this non boating time.
What are your pet peeves- anything goes.
I don't have many 'cause I'm perfect... Here are a few, I'm sure I can think of more but...

-Folks who don't know how to drive. At least do the speed limit in the number 1 lane or move over. Especially here in Montgomery County, MD.

-Folks who cross that SOLID white line while merging on or off an exit. That line gives drivers ample time for others to safely pass or merge in traffic. You can wait a few more seconds to safely merge AFTER that white line! :x

- People who will walk right in front of you while not excusing themselves- It's just common courtesy!

- Sail boaters who are exempt from monitoring or responding to a hail on channel 16. They are too busy drying out their wet bed sheets in the wind to give a damn!

- People who call you on the phone and immediately ask "who is this?"
Damn lady, you called me. Identify yourself!

- Paying for a COLD beer then finding out after the first sip that they just stocked the cooler 10 minutes ago! :) :)

Please, thank you, and excuse me...All pet peeves of mine.

Not throwing up a hand to thank you in traffic after you've let them in...Really big pet peave.

Eating while talking on the phone. YUK!!

Obviously healthy people throwing up the "handicap" tag and parking in the handicap spots.

I think thats it :D

Price of gas when you consider how many gallons I could buy with the CEO's Bonus.

People who pull out into the left lane to make a right turn. For F*ks sake, your driving a compact, not a semi-trailer

(only a half mile down the road!)    One of these days one of these idiots is going to get an 80,000lb enema!! Compliments of .............?

As long at that engine is running, they are a power vessel - whether the sails are up or not. Just grab your phone or camera and shoot a few seconds of video to prove it if you might need to.
