Great dive Trip

Post by DOUBLE R »

Went Offshore 15 miles or so due east off Saint Johns River delta at the Mayport jetties. Dove on the Busey's Bonanza (BB) culverts in sixty feet of water and had a blast, spearing grouper, and flounder. click on the puppy dog to view short vid.

Have just never taken the time to go to dive classes. Not sure how well I would do with the mask and tight fitting wet suit since I'm claustrophobic, but think I could get past that. Very cold diving in the great lakes with water temps topping out about 70 on the surface in late August. Got it on my bucket lst though.

I remember when i first came to Canada my buddy took me skiing in lake ontario, I said "isn't it cold" he said lean over and check the water.
