A pair of 73's

Post by classicf25 »

The 1973 F30 'Clean Machine' and the 1973 F25 Hardtop are now safely at our home dock! The F25 has been a long time coming... 15 months since we picked her up. Just splashed her on Thanksgiving.

Just kinda stumbled across the F30 a couple of months ago and couldn't resist! Now we are kinda liking it as well.

Still a lot to do on both but at least they are both at the dock in the back yard now and easily accessible. Finally!!!

We plan on using both until spring and seeing which one we want to keep, Who knows there may be good reasons to keep both! Time will tell but not telling the wife that yet-lol!

I hope these pictures come out ok. I wanted to let everyone know I really appreciate all the advice and help so far! Work doesnt allow me much, if any time these day's but having my 73's close to home should help speed up the progress. The F25 was started first and will be finished as originally planned first. The F30 is in good running/fishing condition which is all we want right from her right now.

A big shout out to Beacon Bob for being available for advice on the phone when a quick decision was needed!

Hopefully the pictures come out and more will follow soon.
Great to be on the water again, especiallly at this beautiful time of the year here in Florida! See you out on the Gulf.

Love the 25 hardtop. I was looking at 26 hardtops a few years back. Almost the same really.

Its nice to see I am not the only sick one who thinks the empty side of the dock makes the whole front yard look wrong and imbalanced. :D

I want a second Trojan too. Maybe one of these days a decent Marlin will surface. I love the center console Trojans, but they aren't easy to find.

Lookin' good over there! :)

Looking Good! Great to see these old 'Clean Machines ' are still alive and kickin'. Not bad for a 40 year old boat !!
