Time for rebuilds?

Post by Commissionpoint »

Well, not quite yet for me anyhow, but I have been hearing A LOT of good things about these folks. I thought I would post it so it would be here if anyone is in need of a repower at some point. Its always good to have options. :)

I'm gonna push my 305 SBC's until they roll over and die. When they do I am probably going to call these folks and talk about a 5.7 or 6.3 solution.

6.3's, Yeah right. I musta had one too many during the 'Bama game.

Thanks for the compliments, Yes I did get a good deal they were purchased new a few years ago for a restoration project of an old wood boat inside a heated warehouse that never got finished. Picked born motors and tranies for 9,500.00 had the old motors pulled out these put in along with dripless shafts fuel lines , cutlass bearings flex couplers. Total bill was 21,000 :D

Beautiful engines. I would love to put a fuel injected Crusader in my F26, but the economics just don't work out.

Didn't say there was. It would just be a whole lot cooler to me if they were Merc Black.

Nice power plants Larry. I'll stick up for you. Though I see a perfect opportunity for a hijack, I'll resist the temptation of being long winded and keep it short; I would take blue, red, white, green, and yellow engines, but it would have to be a really good deal or layout before I'd consider black gassers. That's just me :P
