Today I am on official member of the Trojan Boat owners

Post by dfg4240 »

I sent in a binding deposit pending a surver report.
It was just surveyed 5 months ago but I want to make sure of everything so I can have it insured.
I can't get it until the lake is clear which is around June I believe.
It is a 1977 Trojan F 32. These three pics will tell you what shape it is in.
I am as excited as a little kid (73 yrs old).

WELCOME AND MAZEL TOV on the impending survey. i hope everything works out, and, of course, keep us posted. took a look at the pics and she looks fantastic. i love the camper canvas!! i had a 32 prior to my 36 tri cabin, and i think you will be pleased with her. they are great boats and it looks like your vessel has been lovingly cared for. does she really look as good in person as the pics? this model, i believe, is the 'special edition' as the coverboards and toe rails are teak over fiberglass. wow.....

She looks exactly the same but she is wrapped right now and on a massive wood custom trailer made for her.
you can tow it around but not take it on the highway.
Just for moving her around the marina or even a short trip I was told .
I looked and looked at I don't know how many of them.
I heard that these boats brcause of their core have some stringer damage but not this one according to the last survey.

Very nice looking boat. But...are you sure it's a 1977?
The reason I ask, is that I have seen earlier F32's without a v-berth door. But have not seen a 1977. (yet)
Got the HIN?

Otherwise, congrats!

Congrats and welcome aboard you 73-year old kid!

Only use from June through Sep? Should be like new!

We removed our V-Berth door and swung the bathrooom door from the other side - too many doors.

It is listed as a option in 1977. I don't have a door either, not sure if I want one or not.

If it looks that good in person, the survey should go well. You will have a beautiful boat. I love the cabin materials and colors.

Hi
Sorry everyone that I did not update here.
That deal on the F32 fell through but I did buy a 1978 F36 and it will be driven from Buffalo Via the canal to the seneca river and be docked at the Barrett marina.
When I get her I will post pics.
