I replaced port motor only with original, as far as I know transmission with a FWC 318, drop in, plug and play in a RWC 1973 F32 sportfish

I reread this a few times and if its the original trans being used then it would have to be the same rotatation for the trans to work unless the pump was rotated .

K4282 is this the trans that came with the boat ? And if it was did you use it as is or rotate the pump ?

Whatever way the engines turn the props when looked at from stern should both turn over the top to the outside of their respective side of the boat.

BTW I am not sure the intake manifolds for the 318 Chrysler are always automotive. Mine which are 3 degree slant for carby are cast MARINE on bottom. Perhaps the 11 degree slanted manifold may be pure auto. The 3 degree ones are used on vee drives and 11 on standard.
