The Paragon Model 6A (water cooled) V drive has a separate transmission fluid reservoir with its own dipstick. I worked with three Model 6A units, and two had dipsticks the same length as the transmission dipstick and one had a dipstick that was longer than the transmission dipstick. The dipstick for the V drive on vabeach1234 is longer than the transmission dipstick. Of the four Model 6A V drives I'm familiar with, two have the "short" dipsticks and two have the "long" dipsticks. Needless to say I'm not sure which is correct.
I would like to take a poll of all of the Model 6A (water cooled) V drive owners on the forum. Is the dipstick in your V drive the same length as the dipstick in the transmission ("short") or longer than the dipstick in the transmission ("long"). Hopefully we can shed some light on the mystery of the different length dipsticks.
