I've been using pledge orange oil, leaves a nice shine and is very easy to apply. Plus it has a nice orange smell to it

The table looks like it was custom built. Great Ideal Paul I like it.
I made the table...birch with some old teak trim I had kickin' around.
Then used three coats of Natural Cetol.
Yes, they are very roomy when you compare them to the newer boats with out an aft cabin.

My wife is responsible for how the wood finish looks. She uses three coats of Cetol original plus 2 coats of Cetol clear on all of the interior wood.

The bulkheads in mine are a formica like paneling and won't shine up. The trim boards are just varnished with Cetol.

Hey Matt...
I have one of my three bilge pumps there too. I just cut the floor board by 1/3rd and screwed that piece down to I could mount my table pedestal....the aft 2/3rd's piece of flooring under the carpet, is still removable to access the pump.

Definitely a nice idea, thanks for the info. Where's your third pump? I have my second in the rudder compartment. I don't have a third, but can close my engine seacock, open up a valve which has a hose to the bilge under the engine and use the engine as an emergency pump.

I have seen that set up on earlier posts and think that it is a must do in time.
At the moment I have a mid bilge pump under the cabin floor, one bilge under the V-berth, and the third at my prop shaft exit.
Maybe overkill....but that was the set up that the previous owner had, and it doesn't hurt anything. The power sources for them are divided between the house bank batteries, and the one of two starting batteries.
