Well we had another no fish day. We went north to Hogs Island and did see bait fish and fish but no takers. We came back and got into a lot of birds diving and bait fish but no Stripers so we ended up calling it a day.

Two of the days we were fishing in were pretty rough days. While moving from one place to another we our boat got a good washing from the sea water. It was hard to see at times.

If it would have been a one day tournament we would have placed but since it was a three day tournament we did not even get close. We did not catch a fish on the 2nd and 3rd day. We marked a lot of fish and bait but no takers. It was really rough out there the last two days. Nice thing about a trojan is that we did not notice like many others did but when we moved me sure threw some water. There is always next year.

My son is going on a charter tomarrow. I guess there were a lot of people from his office who wanted to charter a boat so he decided to go with them. I told him why not. Shoot the big ones are still around here. I shall find out tomarrow evening if he gets a Striper.

My son's charter had two fish. About 45 lbs each. That could be inches. I have not asked him where they caught them. I keep forgetting to ask him. I will be at the boat tomarrow in the morning around 10 am to do a alternator test. I am pretty sure it is ok but we will test it anyway. I will try and ask him about the trip.

I talked to my son today about the charter. They went way north and only got two 25 lb fish. Wow it is a wonder what hearing aids do for fishing. I like what I heard the first time. LOL Ok they found some warm water up around Hogs Island and that is where they caught them. We fished that area during the turnament and got nothing.
It would help if the fish would post where they are and tell us if they are biting. :D
