Deck covering

I have just replaced my entire front deck on a 1972 42' Sea Voyager. Not being a purist, it was done with new oak stringers (joists) and two layers of marine plywood on top, stained, waterproofed and caulked. The old deck had delaminated and was filled with rot. I want to cover the front deck with carpeting since it is used for charter (sloopy guests) and the deck can become unbearably hot on bare feet on a nice summer day. Does anyone know of a non rubber backed, breathable indoor/outdoor carpeting that will not hold moisture underneath and will dry out if it is rained upon? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....

Why not use a good topside paint with non slip additive?

On a previous wooden boat I used nautilex material that covered the decks. you have to use their latex glue. This is a marine grade material and comes in a variety of colours. Very easy to apply
