Calendar says no, but a great day in the Finger Lakes (NY). 51 degrees! Waiting for the thaw.

Have they ever just tried shooting the thing before it gets out of the hole? :?

It could work.

Why all this fuss over what's basically a jumbo sized rat is beyond me. Judging from the 4 feet of snow we've had so far I'd say Phil is being optimistic when it comes to upstate NY.

must be from southern Cal. They need to use a possum or a raccoon or even a catfish. Diversify, let other critters give it a try, they might do a better job. That Phil (or is it fill) seems to be narrow minded when it comes to our boating summers.

here in chattanooga, i always associate the first of march with spring...usually starts warming up into the 60s early on, and in the low 70s by the first of april.

hopefully, i'll have my next boat by this weekend...spend some time on it and be ready to go by the first of march.

you'se guys up north are more than welcome to come down here where the water's not frozen.

Weather was beautiful on Sat here in MN. Temps reached 43 in the storage yard, and yes, I was there measuring things for spring projects! Plugged in the shore power and charged up the batteries. I spent a couple hours on the boat day-dreaming till the chargers indicated all the banks were full. Tarped the old girl up and went home.

Right now, the temp is 1! Rediculous. Someone must have solved the whole global warming issue as here in MN while we fretting about the economy :)

Was walking the two rotten little pooches yesterday, and saw 2 Robins sitting in a neighbor's tree. At first I thought, oh boy first sign of spring. After thinking about it a little bit, I realized that they are just psycho, Alfred Hitchcock-type birds,in league with that bipolar ground-rat trying to bait me into taking the shrink wrap off to early...
