another question,
was it a factory installation to put the air conditioning unit over the dinette and vent it into the bathroom,? I think it was, but not sure,
any ideas? I have a F31 and there WAS an air condtioner /heater unit that is mounted over the dinette, on top of the closet and vents into the head, so when you have the air on, its like an inferno in the toilet,,,,l
seems a little wacky,

Kevin. your a/c unit(s} will be under the floor just below the lower helm ( if you have the lower helm )

Kevin, they would be to the far right side (starboard ) you have to lift the floor to see the unit(s) some boats had none . some had 1 some had 2 . Mine has 2 one is also a heat pump . I also had 2 wall heaters . if you have A/C you should have a 3 knob control( or 2 ) and some vents . it the A/C was added later it could be else where .

Yup :D , Bill i have seen 2 A/C installed like yours one done by owner for sure the other was a photo here installed the same place but was water cooled so it did not turn the head in to Steam room. said to be OEM .
but I do not think trojan would do a install like this .

yeah, I know the old unit was water cooled, but it was shot, I tossed it, being that there was a hole there, I installed another unit, works well, but needless to say , the bathroom is not air conditioned,
Ultimately I will install a Mermaid reverse cycle unit, , but for now I will keep the window type unit, it looks good and replaces the , lets say dealer installed setup, and I dont need heat, from that unit as I have an electric setup for those cool nights

The old unit being water cooled would not cause the head to get hot ,like a "window" ac would , being that it was water cooled and the 2nd on I heard like that maybe it was factory . you can get the bill of sale when the boat was made from Marine Tech .
