I have this 96' Yamaha WaveVenture that i brought home from the lake and want to repair the gouges in the hull and repaint the entire thing.
I am contemplating the color scheme.
The seats are in perfect shape and don't want to spend the money recovering good seats so they will stay purple and teal so I need some colors to compliment the purple and teal seat.
I thought I would remove all the stickers with a heat gun paint the body all black and the hood Silver, then replace some of the yamaha stickers.
Any other suggestions are welcome and wanted
Here's a pic of it, feel free to photchop it in the color you think would look sick.
Thanks

i started to buy an older yamaha a few days ago myself. honestly, i was going to paint it black all over, and then put big yellow smiley faces all over it.
just an idea.

Here it is without stickers and buffing and waxing...
I haven't taken pics since the stickers, I will get some shortly after the final stickers come.
All the stickers are Silver to tie in the hood with the black.
I hate that the rear seat is teal, but there's not a lot I can do about that.

Very nice! I like the look.
Here's a guy on one of my fishing forums who fishes from his jet ski. He has it all rigged up for offshore fishing and the bay. Electronics, rod holders, cooler accessories, gps, radio, fish finder, etc. He's a hell of a fisherman...

i think you did a neat job on the paint scheme i have a 97 jetski just like that one. mine still looks like the original. i surely think everyone can do what they want but my experience is anything in the hot sun will be alot hotter if its not white at least in tennessee. have you had any experince with this? i am not trying to down your choice, just asking.

Yea, the black is hot with the sun on it. That might have been a big mistake in the end...

Trojan colors would've looked good.
