Hey all, my 1989 10 meter fuel gauges do not seem very accurate. Was at a 1/4 tank and put in 20 gal. of fuel and gauge shows 3/4 full. Any one pulled these sending units out ? Lenght of float arm, ohm range? Will be looking at new units to replace these as I am sure ethonal has done it evil magic.

Wow - guess I am lucky, mine are quite accurate. On my recent long trip I found out that they are within about 5 gallons of totally accurate on my two 130 gallon tanks. That is less than 5% error so I can live with that. I also keep track of my cruising time since I bench-marked each engine at several different power settings and know the fuel consumption rate at those power settings. Old habit from my flying days but it works like a charm.
