Looking for some advice. This is my first year winterizing my 10.8 meter and am hoping to cover the boat with a tarp. The LOA is 35 and the boat has a bridge as well as a radar arch. Anyone familiar with what size tarp I will need? What type of measurements should I take to figure it out???? I was thinking I would need a 30x50????

Two years ago I bought shrink to do my F32. The piece was 32'X56'.
With a slight dome over the flybridge, it came down approx half way between the rub rail ( at the stern ) and the waterline. I needed every bit of the 32 for the width, wouldn't want it any narrower. As far as the length did not use the full 56', probably 45'.

On our 73 F36, I use a 70'x30' tarp. I have 2 8' "sawhorse" frame, one sits on the two bow hatches, one just ahead of the seat in the fly bridge with a 2x4 ridge that starts at the bow pulpet, up and over the stand on the fly bridge and down to the transome. The 30' is a little narrow. It only comes about 8" below the rub rail.

Do you have alot of extra with the 70 ft length???

I have used a 50'X30' and it worked great.

We "sit" on railroad ties cross stacked down the keel. The front edge of the tarp starts about 6" below the normal water line at the bow. At the transome, it goes to about 6" below the swim platfom. It varies from year to year depending on where we put the supports .

I use a 30X50 poly tarp on my F32, and it's a little too long. I would think this size would be perfect for your boat.

A wider tarp would provide better coverage over the flybridge, where the sides of the tarp only cover the upper portion of the hull, but as it is I have to cut off excess in the bow and stern and use clip on grommets to pull everything snug fore and aft.

I use an EMT frame with a mix of FrameMaker and Kover Clamps which takes me about an hour to erect and stows away in a very small space over the summer.
