How many of you guys keep your boats in water all year?

we can get in the teens at times and I have been frozen in the creek

I do, but I also keep the boat in a covered slip

We keep ours in the water and we are located in the same area as Prowlersfish. I have seen some ice on the water but not enough to cause a problem. This year could be different. I hear it is to be a cold one. We shall see.

i keep her in as my marina uses a bubbler system to keep the slips clean.
i shrink wrap the bridge and have a cockpit cover along with a small engine room heater. i'm only 10 minutes from the marina, so i check up on her every other day, as does my mechanic in the next marina. those of us that do keep them in the water have each others contact info and we all have 'rights' to board each others vessels if someone sees something not quite right. those that live farther away haul them out, but to be honest, i'm not comfortable with her being on land for that long. i understand that the bilge does not get as cold when in the water too.
i guess it depends on ones comfort level.

I just haul out for work and then she goes back in.

Duchess stays in the water behind the house she gets covered and ice eaters are fore and aft they also keep my pilings clear

wow, more than I thought, I m gonna haul mine out , just for cleanning etc, and back in,
just have to find a more economical way of winterizing the bilge , last year I used an electric heater, but the electric bill at the marina killed me, the over charge like crazy, an average of 200 plus a month, that I cant do again,

The water here gets very, very hard come Dec - March. About 3-4 feet deep of ice.

what defines a 'warm guy'? lol
it gets kinda nipply here in chattanooga, brother. trust me. last year we actually had ice in the harbor at the marina! OMG!!!!
it's super rare, but it does happen. lol
