Underwater lights

I gotta have my boat pulled and clean it up soon. I let it sit for only 90 days without protection for a with and without a barnacle barrier photo - it got barnacles. So, now I've gotta pressure wash it.

While it's on the hard, I though I might install some underwater lights on the transom. I don't want to cut a big hole for those through-hull designs. So, the led lights seem the way to go...just a few screws and a small hole for the wire with a glob of 5200.

Do you think just a pair of the 18 led model would be significant? ($250)

They say one per three feet of beam my F32 is 13 feet wide so I would need 1 1/2 pair

I have blue LED strip lights mounted under the gunwales in my cockpit, but plan to move these to the bottom of my swim platform, and replace the gunwales with white LEDs in my cockpit.

Yeah...I have whites in my cockpit and yellows in the salon. I figure that design in the link is simple, clean and tough enough to last awhile. I think 3 sounds like enough too. So, 375 bucks for 3 lights totalling 54 leds...should be bright enough.
