Michael - we have traveled the North Channel extensively over the last several years and absolutely love it. Favorite spots are Marianne Cove in Baie Finn, Covered Portage Cove in the Landsdowne Channel, Killarney and OH the fish!, Tobermory - what a great place to spend three days in the summer, the Benjamin Islands - great to drop the hook and relax, Gore Bay, and Little Current.

I looked at your pics and have seen many of those same sights. All of my travels to this point in the North Channel have been in my former boat. Next year we will take our Trojan, SeaDog, to the North Channel for the first time and we are really looking forward to it. Perhaps we will see you there.

Nice photos. My wife and had a taste of boating in the Honey Harbour area of Georgian Bay. We spent our nights on Beausolei Island and spent our days running around the islands with our 18 ft Doral.

You'll probably never run out of beautiful anchorages to explore.

thanks for the reply absolutly makes my mouth water we have nothing like that here . What a wondeerful cruising ground and what a great place for the kids and grandkids thanks again

We plan to be up there again next Summer.... we did not get as far west as we wanted to last Summer.
We usually go last week July first of August... thinking about making it three weeks this Summer.
Still trying to get my head around weather changes... it was quite wet and windy that time last year which is very unusual. We left to come home just as the good weather started... so we are not sure if we should go earlier or later than those two weeks.
Going to try and listen to the weather guys in the spring... though last Summer they blew it, said hot and dry that was a joke.
When will you be there.... I'm sure we can meet up.

Glad you enjoyed them.... yes we do appreciate the little bit of heaven we have up here.
Main reason why I am happy to retire to being on the water in a couple of years. Only thing I need to do is have another one in the Key's or Bahamas for the winter months.... part of me says go even further South to St. Kitt's & Nevis maybe.

Having been to both on a winjammer I d take Nevis smaller only one small resort and friendly people. For diving I d take the caymen s especially catmen brac Tom

We enjoyed both... stayed longer on St. Kitts though had a great day driving around Nevis and visit some old Plantation Great houses.
