That sounds about right... I believe 1 gal per mile is a good standard for those Trojans... certainly works for F32.

The F with gas will burn more fuel then the f32. the F36 gas will be apox .6-.8 mpg the feel burn at cruse will be close to your 45" diesel . now at hull speed( 8 knots or so) the F36 won't be too bad if your down sizing to save fuel you will need to go a lot smaller or go with diesels .

JC3 - I can scan and send you a copy of the owners manual for my 36 Tri-cabin which gives you power settings, fuel consumption, and associated cruise speeds for all of the various engine packages available for the Tri-cabin. I found it to be very accurate when cruising. This may help you when you are looking at some with various engine packages.

Let me know.

Paul -

On the 670 mile trip we took last summer, we cruised at 2900RPM to keep us out of the 4bbl's and I got 18 knots and 23 gph fuel consumption. I have twin Merc 255's that have about 1100 hours on them. I have 250 gallons on board so we could cruise for a long time and did - cruising for about 10 hours or 180 nautical miles when the weather would allow.
