Hi All,

I am a new member to TrojanBoats.net but not to boating.
I just signed an offer on a Trojan F32 ..... the low low prices have me a bit nervous, yet excited and anxious for a potential deal at the same time.
After looking at many boats of the same length and style, I came to really like the Trojan for all that it offers and the beam is the envy of many.
I just sold my 34 CHB sedan trawler, slow, steady and narrow. The Trojan is twice the boat in the interior, however, the bridge is very small.

No need to be nervous because you did make the offer based on satisfactory water test and survey... right?

2 hour Sea Trial, Full hull and mechanical survey contigency, out of the water

Welcome to the forum and I hope that your offer is accepted. I, like you, looked over many boats of varying price ranges and quality. I settled on the Trojan because it was, in my estimation, the best built boat and I love its classic lines. Mine is all original and in great shape.

Price was not my major consideration, but livable room and dependability were and Trojan won hands down. I am 62 and plan to keep mine for the foreseeable future. We are re-doing the salon, the entire galley, and master berth and putting new carpet throughout before launching this spring.

Next year I plan to re-power with diesels and install new fuel tanks.

Hope you like yours as much as everyone here likes theirs.

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome, I will most likely buy the boat, I have made a fairly low offer which I beleive it will sell for this, however, thanks to a talkative broker, I think I know the sellers comfort level on the sale and it would be my comfort level to purchase. This boat will need a lot of TLC, but my own "survey" has revealed that she has great bones, no soft spots or even stress cracks in the GC. There is something to say say for buying a boat of which the previous owners didn't install all kinds of accessories or other crap, there are no errant switches (panel holes), wires (fire) or holes drilled that would allow water degradation to the structures and cores. While she does have a decent electronics package, they appear to have been installed correctly, without damaging bulkheads, or panels and using factory raceways.
I look forward to learning more from all of you and sharing the storries and projects with you.

Welcome aboard gettaway. I have found that the F-32 is so easy to work on that it is a pleasure to work on and personalize.

The boat does seem to be straight forward and relatively simple, the boat has 350 mercruisers, 250 hp each or so reported. rebuilt mercruiser transmissions, new shafts & props, I think there may have been and electrolosys problem in her past, but I'll benefit from the new running gear
The owner has allowed me to run the engines prior to sea trial and even prior to the offer, which is a bit reassuring, however, a mechanical survey will tell the real story, but the engines run great. they start instantly, when sitting cold no hot spots and ample water flow out the exhausts.
