Bay Point Marina at Little Creek Inlet in Norfolk, VA.

Ice is pretty thin but I hate to see it this early.

I'm not sure if it's a 32 or 36 but it is a Trojan and it's For Sale. It's in great shape. I think the owner has too many toys / other distractions to use it.

It's a 32. You can see superstructure for the lower cabin above the deck (36 is flush).

I stopped by to check on my boat New Years and this is what I found. I'm on the hard so it's not much concern for me.

I'm a bit surprised that you folks leave your boats in the water with ice in the marina. I would think that if temps go extremely in the wrong direction there is a chance that the hull could be crushed. Is that not a concern?

water bubblers keep the water moving around the boats and moving water wont freeze. I have never done this but I wont consider this next year if I finish all my projects this year and have no problems at the end of next season.

No worry here about it, boats closer to shore do sometimes but the ice doesn't stay around long ,temp and current moves it along.

This what my dock and marina looked like just three years ago when I was in Lake Huron. This is mid January. Don't think you want to leave a boat in there!
