New to Trojan, New to the forum... 36 tri cabin

Post by helderp »

Hello fellow Trojan owners, new to the forum - new to a Trojan. We had a 1970 46' Chris Craft Aqua Home which we just sold to buy our 1973 Trojan Tri Cabin 36. Anyhow every time I join a new forum I take a bit of time to introduce myself. 73 Tri Cabin w/twin 318's in perfect running order. The Owen generator looks new but wont start, the marine air does not cool to well, but over all the boat in great shape. It's been in salt water for the past two years, but originally was trucked down from Chicago Illinois. The idea was to buy a boat with about the same live aboard space and a lot less size and engine. We had Chevy 454's on or Chris Craft which was outrageous to run and now have 318's which hopefully will be a bit more fuel efficient. We only take the boat out about 1-2 times a month. Anyway my question is a common one, is there anything special I should look out for? Anyhow we just wanted to chime in and say that we are proud to join the existing group of Trojan owners,
