Classic 50-60's Trojan

I inherited at 1950-60's Trojan from my grandfather, which has been sitting in a barn for 30+ years. It's a 19 ft wooden outboard, but that's all the info I have at this time.

Can someone give me some recommendations on where I can get more info regarding Trojan boats of this era? My search has not yielded much, but I know there are knowledgeable people out there who cherish classic boats. My goal is to restore it.

You may want to post on the runabout section also . Bob at becon may have some info also .

Thanks! In searching for info on these forums, I have noticed a general sense of hospitality of you all. It's refreshing!

Are you down here in Texas, I noticed the beautiful flag on the bow of your Trojan. Several of us are in the North Texas Area. :D

Wow. Haven't seen anything like that since I was a little kid. That trailer is an amazing period piece too. Can't wait to see the finished product.
