Very Clean Trojan
I suspect this is an F25... can someone confirm? I haven't seen one up close before and it's smaller than the F26s I've seen locally. I spied this a few slips down from me on Saturday when I got down. That makes 8 Trojans on my dock now. It is a very clean boat!

Thought of that Paul...it is looks smaller than the typical 26 in length and beam. Just figured it to be a 25.

I think they made a early and late model with a diffrent beam or maybe that was the F26 ? ( boy I am a lot of help ) . I always had issues telling them apart , some owners don't know what they have also .

I think it is the other way round. 25's with the bench.summer storm wrote:For me these two boats are the hardest to identify. I think (and I haven't confirmed it yet) the 25 has forward windows and the 26 has a bench seat up front where the windows would be.

same slope lines as mine but the cabin windows are much taller. at least by 6 inches. It maybe the angle of the picture. I havent seen a f-25 hardtop, most are f-26. The numbers are on the lower black boot leg, mine are under my swim platform but thi boat doesnt have one. She is clean! good interesting share Jamie thanks..... I think its a 26

The straight sheerline gives this away as a Model 253 F-25 (introduced for '75), as opposed to the sweeping sheerline of the Model 251/252 F-25 ('73-'74) and follow-on Model 261 F-26 ('75-on). The resulting tall trunk cabin and thick A-pillar ahead of the cabin side window are also clues. Early models offered a bench seat up front (illustrated in the Trojan Owner's Manual during the seventies), but most later boats had fixed forward cabin windows. Hardtop was optional, but flybridge was not available.

I think the boat is definately a later seventies F25. Does it have a bench seat up front? Seems to have a little different lines than my 73. It appears there was a significant design change sometime in the mid seventies for the F25 from others I have seen online. Can't wait to take mine out soon!
